Mr. Kumpfmueller is a Senior Associate & Senior Tunnel Engineer with Dr. Sauer & Partners who he is working with the company for 18 years. He has gained practical experience through his involvement on international tunnelling and mining projects. Mr. Kumpfmueller started with Dr. Sauer & Partners’ design office in Washington D.C., USA, before moving to the UK in 2011. He has since worked on Crossrail, London Underground, Highspeed 2 and Network Rail projects. Mr. Kumpfmueller has recently provided project management, technical support, design and consulting to the Woodsmith mine project in North Yorkshire as well as design and project management to the NEOM Aquellum project in Saudi Arabia.
