A multidisciplinary engineer with over 40 years’ experience, dedicated to engineering and technology supporting safe, sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems. Specialised in data‑driven asset management, applying AI and machine‑learning techniques improving performance, efficiency and environmental outcomes in the UK rail sector. Nationally involved since May 2025 in Construction Management widening my portfolio and maximising digital innovation across all rail sector engineering disciplines. Member of the Institution of IET, Chartership pending and Chartered in AI & Data Science with the BCS, instilling the principles of responsible innovation, systems thinking and professional integrity. I provide expert input and consultation within Network Rail Technical Authority and across industry bodies including BSI, RSSB, GBRX and the DfT, supporting policy development and contributing to international standards through ISO/IEC and CEN/CENELEC. Committed to advancing the engineering profession mentoring early‑career engineers and supporting STEM Ambassador schemes, inspiring the next generation of engineers and technologists.
